Incentive Compensation
Argon ST's Incentive Compensation program is designed to provide monetary recognition to employees whose performance has resulted in accomplishments which exceeded management’s expectations during the period under evaluation. Employees who are scheduled to work 20+ hours per week, have been employed by the company for at least six months and have worked a minimum of 800 hours prior to the end of the plan year are eligible to receive annual incentive compensation. Awards are based on the company’s overall performance and management’s assessment of individual contributions to that performance. Incentive compensation awards are distributed in December based on the previous fiscal year's performance. The Incentive Compensation program is a discretionary benefit.
Be Our Guest
Argon ST's Be Our Guest program is designed to recognize individuals and/or teams for their extraordinary effort towards achievement of their goals at Argon ST. It is not meant to take the place of the year-end bonus, but to say thank you, and recognize people for a specific effort in a timely fashion. The name of the program comes from the idea that we want the recipient to “be our guest” and use the award for an enjoyable and relaxing evening out with family and/or friends at Argon ST’s expense. The Be Our Guest program is a discretionary benefit.
Service Awards
Argon ST's Service Awards program is designed to recognize employees who have completed 1 or more years of continuous employment with Argon ST. Employees are recognized on their first year anniversary, their fifth year anniversary and then every 5 years thereafter.
The program has been combined with our online store so that we can successfully offer awards as diverse as the employees that we are honoring.
Stock Options
Argon ST is a publicly traded company (STST) on the NASDAQ stock exchange. In addition to our Employee Stock Purchase Plan, the Board of Directors annually considers distributing stock options as incentive compensation to employees whose performance contributes to the success of the company. Stock options are fully vested after 5 years and are valid for 10 years. The distribution of stock options is a discretionary benefit.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
The Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) is designed to allow employees to become partial owners of Argon ST at a discounted price. Employees may purchase Argon ST stock (Nasdaq: STST) through payroll deductions of 1-10% of earnings on an after tax basis. The price of the shares will be 95% of the fair market value of the stock on the date the shares are purchased. Enrollment for the ESPP occurs in December and June.
