Paid Time Off

Paid Time Off (PTO) provides employees a bank of leave to be used at his/her discretion allowing flexibility for employees to use leave in a way that suits their individual needs. Beginning with the first year of employment, regular full-time employees accrue 20 workdays of PTO. After 5 years of continuous full-time employment, regular full-time employees accrue 25 days of PTO. After 10 years of continuous full-time employment, employees accrue one additional PTO day with each additional year of employment (max accrual is 30 days). PTO is accrued from the date of hire. Unused PTO may be banked for later use up to a maximum of 320 hours, or may be converted to cash at your hourly compensation rate at the time of conversion (limited to twice within a 12 month period and to accumulated PTO hours over 40). PTO hours beyond 320 will be paid out to the employee at the end of the fiscal year. Full-time employees can request up to 1 week (40 hours) of advanced PTO.

Paid Holidays

*Note: this benefit varies by operating unit.

All regular full-time and part-time Argon ST employees are eligible for paid holiday leave. The following eleven holidays are observed on an annual basis:

•  New Year's Day
•  Memorial Day
•  Independence Day
•  Labor Day
•  Thanksgiving Day
•  the Friday after Thanksgiving
•  December 25th (Christmas Day)
•  the four days between Christmas and New Year's Day

Flex Time

Argon ST is open for business Monday through Friday with core business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Argon ST understands that everyone's scheduling needs are different and offers flex time to provide for your preferred work schedule. Flex Time is offered with supervisor approval.
