SDRC Wins SeaPort-e Award

SAN DIEGO, California (6/2/2006) - SDRC (San Diego Research Center, Inc.) has been awarded one of the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contracts by the U.S. Navy.  SeaPort-e is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract for service requirements of Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the Marine Corps.

The functional service areas within the scope of the contracts include research and development support, systems engineering and process engineering support, and information systems development.  This award has a 3-year base period, with one 5-year award term and one additional 2-year award term for a possible total of 10 years.  Work will be competed among the winners on a task order basis.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division in Dahlgren, VA is the contracting activity.
